Bookable via myCRS, myJACK and Amadeus Tour Market
Center Parcs stands for an innovative, successful vacation concept: the combination of comfortable vacation homes, tropical bathing paradise, weather-independent Market Dome and a wide range of activities not only appeals to families, but also meets the vacation wishes of many travelers from different markets.
Until now, the 27 parks in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France could only be booked via Center Parcs’ own sales channels. The Dutch tour operator’s resorts are now bookable for travel agencies via myCRS, myJACK and in Amadeus Tour Market. The Center Parcs product portfolio can be found via the tour operator abbreviation “CEPA”.
The integration into Bistro Portal will also follow soon, with BEWOTEC’s ongoing conversion of the offer data into OTDS format ensuring optimum visibility and high data quality of the Center Parcs offers in Bistro and in the Amadeus IBEs. In this way, offers can be delivered to Amadeus on a daily basis and played into the sales channels connected there.
The connection to the CRS systems myCRS (in myJACK inklusive) and Amadeus Tour Market posed a particular challenge: as Center Parcs’ reservation system is not STADIS-compatible, the BEWOTEC development team set up a “translation gateway” between the CRS systems and the reservation system. This gateway – like all new services and software components of BEWOTEC’s tour operator solutions – is located in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. In future, this cloud-based gateway will also be used to receive CRS requests from other users of BEWOTEC’s tour operator software.
