News from DaVinci:
The Release 1077

We are pleased to announce a new version of DaVinci and we therefore want to give a quick overview of its latest innovations:

EU-Package Travel Directive

The implementation of the EU Package Travel Directive was approved by the German government, on 1 June 2017. Therefore, the law comes into force on the 1st of July 2018.

BEWOTEC is already intensively working in cooperation with various associations, customers and partners to ensure that you can meet the new guidelines, with DaVinci.

In order to have DaVinci legally compliant and in accordance with the law, from the 1st of July, changes in the booking system, processes and interfaces may be required.

The key element in DaVinci 1078, which is currently under development, will be the expansion of the DaVinci booking server TOMA interface. The interface protocol has been extended, by the CRS providers, with additional record types that DaVinci will support, in the future, and in time before the new directive.

You will be informed about the changes in good time.
