We build schools in Africa

Together with our employees, partners and customers

Our school building in Afrika

Following the successful new school construction in Malawi, we are already planning another school in Africa. The exact location hasn’t been determined yet. We are very happy to be able to launch such an exciting and valuable project once again and to support it together with you all the way to when it opens. We will gladly keep you informed about this at all times!

Who is FLY & HELP?

Commitment to better education in developing countries

The Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP plans and builds new schools with the help of donations. In doing so, it always works together with partner organisations.
After completing the construction work, the education ministries of the respective countries take over responsibility for the schools.
Every single donated penny goes to the projects. The foundation can achieve a lot even with small contributions. It has already been able to initiate, support and manage over 270 projects around the globe. All donations go exclusively to the aid projects supported by FLY & HELP. Travel and administration costs are financed from Reiner Meutsch’s own funds.

Our Aim

Our objective is to build schools in developing countries!

As a central network in the tourism industry, we hope to raise awareness for the Reiner Meutsch Foundation Fly & Help among those working in the sector and provide a monthly donation to this charitable organisation.

The project applies the philosophy of “helping others to help themselves”. It aims to provide local people with the knowledge, skills and motivation to help themselves and others. Only well-trained, conscientious and active young people in Malawi will have the opportunity to escape a future of hopelessness and use their energy to develop their country.
The success of other education projects in the Diocese of Mzuzu shows just how well the concepts have been taken on by parents and how valuable a well-rounded school education is.

Background

A lack of education and virtually no work opportunities are the main reasons why many people from the developing world leave their countries. This is exactly what we are committed to – education – and we support the FLY & HELP Foundation.
The foundation uses donor support to focus on building new schools in developing countries. It has already been able to initiate, support and manage over 270 projects around the globe.

Many inhabitants of developing countries are under 25 years old. Most come from extremely poor backgrounds, having to sometimes travel huge distances to get to school. The schools are in a very poor state of repair and is in desperate need of more classrooms.

As the area is difficult to reach, the teachers all live near the school. These two buildings are also in need of extensive renovation and adequate living spaces are required in order to ensure suitably qualified and motivated teachers will remain at the school in the long term. The state of the accommodation for teachers therefore plays a key role in the quality of teaching at the school.

Girls are particularly disadvantaged as they are often expected to help out in the fields or marry at a young age, preventing them from accessing education. On the long journey to school, they are repeatedly subjected to violence and sexual assaults, meaning that many parents prefer not to send their children to school.

Our Motivation

Our software systems and services for the tourism industry have brought us over 30 years of success. We would now like to use this success to give something back to society.
Thanks to our excellent network, we are able to include many other companies in this charity donation campaign.
We can achieve a lot more when we work together! The Reiner Meutsch Foundation Fly & Help is our ideal partner for achieving a lasting change.

We hope that our cooperation will raise awareness for this important organisation. FLY & HELP has already constructed 270 schools in developing countries. A hundred percent of the donations received by FLY & HELP go towards the aid projects. Administrative costs are covered by Reiner Meutsch himself. www.fly-and-help.de
And finally, this campaign also motivates us to put more energy into our work – because we know that part of what we do is going to a very good cause.
