Dear business partner,
we are all feeling the effects of the corona crisis. The news change almost every hour and the development is extremely dynamic. Public life is massively burdened and increasingly also the economy. Tourism has almost come to a standstill. As managing director of BEWOTEC, it is very important for us to inform you about the current situation at BEWOTEC.
First things first: The operation of your systems at BEWOTEC, as well as the maintenance of them is and remains guaranteed!
The crisis has now a massive impact on all of the customers we serve. The unique cohesion of the tourist family is particularly evident at such times. Flexibility and solidarity as well as mutual support show our common strength in difficult times.
In order to have greatest possible transparency, the management of BEWOTEC started to run a video podcast for four weeks now, which regularly informs BEWOTEC’s employees about current measures and developments. The first preparations for dealing with the pandemic in everyday work were made before the virus appeared in Europe.
At BEWOTEC we take the topic very seriously. We would like to inform you that there will be no restrictions on the use of our systems. Our teams created a pandemic plan weeks ago, which took effect on March 17, 2020. Every employee can work from home, in this case the complete infrastructure is still available. Most of the known communication channels will continue to be supported, or optimized communication channels will be announced to you in good time.
Projects, commissioned developments, deadline commitments, etc. continue to be valid, and we meet all contractual obligations to the known extent. Because customers have postponed projects, services are to be implemented at other times etc. short-time work is carried out in certain company areas.
In addition, we have set up a crisis team that communicates with each other every day. The necessary measures that are adapted to the dynamically changing situation are decided and quickly implemented. We not only develop our software dynamically and agile, we also manage the company according to these outstanding values.
With the help of the measures described here, we remain able to act, even in the event of a site closure by the authorities.
We wish you a lot of strength in this extraordinary time. Together we can emerge stronger from this crisis.
