Charity Project: FLY & HELP

To celebrate our 30th anniversary, BEWOTEC has entered into a close partnership with FLY & HELP in support of a school project in Malawi +++ Inclusion of system users from myJACK and DaVinci
Rösrath, 5 December 2018 (w&p) – every booking makes a difference: Travel IT provider BEWOTEC has entered into a comprehensive partnership with the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the company from Rösrath is the first system provider to support this well-respected organisation and is actively integrating the users of its software products into the donation campaign. The company hopes to raise a total of 50,000 euros by the end of 2019 that will go towards making this essential joint project a reality.
Book for the school children of Malawi:
The construction of a new school is planned in Malawi, East Africa. FLY & HELP will get the project underway in March 2019 – completion is expected by the end of the year. For every booking made via myJACK and DaVinci, BEWOTEC will donate one cent to the project.
Alongside these donations from BEWOTEC, system users have the ability to make their own donation of one, three or five euros or more per month. The company will do this for all new partner contracts. Existing users also have the option to write a monthly donation amount into the relevant contracts and therefore make a real difference.
“As an international sector, we feel the tourism industry bears a particular responsibility here,” says BEWOTEC Managing Director Bernhard Koller during a conversation about the project. “FLY & HELP is the ideal partner for this campaign. As one of the leading system providers, we also have a unique opportunity to get large parts of the travel industry involved in the project and therefore achieve something together. Every booking helps to make this campaign become a success.”
Advertising across all channels:
BEWOTEC will promote this ambitious project across a wide range of different channels. For example, the company is sending Christmas cards with a special FLY & HELP design and a link to the website for donations. BEWOTEC will donate ten euros per card for the school in Malawi. A Christmas newsletter is also bringing the campaign to the attention of customers and providing the option to make a donation. Internally, the company will have a box out at its Christmas party to collect donations for the project. Last but not least, BEWOTEC will use tag lines in its emails, as well as banners on its own website, to continually advertise the campaign website. “In the past, FLY & HELP has been able to successfully implement numerous projects worldwide,” adds Reiner Meutsch, founder of FLY & HELP. “With BEWOTEC as a partner, we are now planning a wide-reaching and creative collaboration that will allow us to get even more supporters enthusiastic about our idea and generate awareness within the tourism industry.”
The Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP supports educational projects around the world. The primary focus is on building new schools in developing countries. This work got started in the course of five projects around the world. The organisation has so far successfully built 270 school buildings. The aim is to complete 30 new projects all over the world each year.
